McKayla has developed extensive practical experience as a certified fire & explosion investigator since graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Forensic Science & Biology from Trent University. In addition to her formal education, she has continued to further her education in this specialized field having achieved her C.F.E.I. designation from the National Association of Fire Investigators and her IAAI-FIT accreditation from the International Association of Arson Investigators.

McKayla’s investigative expertise and client-centric approach to her work has created a consistent demand for her involvement from an array of insurance, legal, property management and corporate clients. Her ability to investigate fires and explosions arising from a wide variety of ignition sources in residential, recreational & commercial settings has positioned McKayla as a trusted expert in the area of forensic fire & explosion investigation.  McKayla works closely with her Electrical, Mechanical & Engineering colleagues as needed during her investigations.
